Course Content
Day 1: Introduction to Title 22 regulations/steps to become a RCFE Administrator & obtain a facility license. Overview Residential Care business, physical plant, staffing, personnel, labor requirements. Practice test
Day 2: Creating a facility budget, payor sources and resident income, accepting & retaining clients, admissions process and agreement, resident rights & house rules, regulatory compliance, violations and enforcement. Practice test
Day 3: Food service/nutrition and the elderly, creating a successful marketing plan and community resources, introduction to resident health conditions,hospice care and bedridden residents, preparing a resident assessment, care plan and incident report, continuous resident care and supervision. Practice test.
Day 4: Required Medication training and compliance, Title 22 regulation/compliance for caring for Alzheimer’s dementia residents. Review and practice test
